The Origin of April Fools' Day Today is April 1st...mm...ok...I lied...It is not (just read when I posted). Anyway, as you all know, April 1st is the April Fools' Day. Legend has it that the tradition was actually started in Singapore. Yes, it was started in Singapore. It was started by the Army General named Mr Foo believed that Singapore would be invaded by a bunch of aliens on the April 1, 1970. It was rumored that the aliens would look like a cross-breed between human and rabbits. They were known to look like human with rabbits' teeth....Alright...that was also not so convincing either...If you want to know when and where it was started , check out wikipedia , of course! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools'_Day :) PS: The world sure needs more April fools' day, when we can laugh about ourselves (or others) without hard feeling and no harm at all to anybody...
